Sharon Powers

I have been teaching swimming lessons in Royal Palm Beach for 18 years and loving every minute.

Teaching children and adults confidence in the water is so important living in South Florida with water all around us with pools, lakes, canals and the ocean.

All lessons are taught thru Powers Swimming. I began teaching children before I had my own 2 boys Dexter and Calvin. They are teens and began lessons with me at 6 months old.

Powers Swimming has expanded into many exciting water adventures. From Survival Swim lessons, child stroke lessons, strokes, overcoming fear of water for adults to dive master level in Padi Scuba certification.

My heart smiles when I see a child or adult be confident and safe around the water!

Mark Jackson

I am a former Division 2 college swimmer as well as a club swimmer of 17 years. I have spent more than 3/4 of my life in the pool swimming, coaching swim teams and teaching swim lessons. I am originally from Westchester, New York and now living down here in beautiful Palm Beach, Florida. When I’m not in the pool, you’ll most likely find me with my two puppies, at the beach or even doing something with my car. I love a good challenge and figuring out what makes each individual child tick. No two kids are the same and no two kids learn how to swim the same way. Swimming is my passion and hopefully I can teach you and/ or your child why I love it so much.
